New news!

Well I am now offically going to Vet Tech school. I start July 19th at Utah Community college. Yay me! I'm meeting with my Financal Aid guy on Monday and then getting registered for classes after that. Anyways. So much for that. I'm sitting at Aunt Amanda's house watching Princess Diaries with Gabby, Lily and Trina. I've been keeping busy working. Everyday all day long. But thats a good thing.

It's official...again.

But I think this is the last time to be "offical" I know I say that everytime, anyway. I've decided on Veterinary school. Well Veterinary Tech. At least untill I know for sure that I want to be a Veterinary. Now I just need to find a school. Not as easy as it sounds.... The one school that I can find here in Utah is Utah Community College. And they are not accepting people with my graduation date. But I emailed them anyways to find out when I would be able to apply. Still waiting to hear from them. The second school I can think of is back home in Alaska. Mat-Su College has a Vet Asst. Program now. I also emailed them to find out more about their program. It's so tempting to just say thats where I'm going. Back home, to Alaska, for school. But I don't know if I can do that or not... If I did do that, I want to be in an apartment still. But there is not as many choices in AK as there is down here. But we shall see.

*Spring Flowers*

Yesterday I babysat for the McKimmey's and the Love's so the adults could go to the Temple. Kyle and Kaden stayed inside playing Risk. I'm not sure if they really know how to play it, but they have fun anyways. The girls and I took the babies for a walk around the block. Then we sat outside, it was a gorgeous day, and made halo's out of dandelions while the little boys played with the ball. Adelaide was sound asleep in the stroller.

Acting Bugs.

Sooo I've been rehearsing a ten minute scene for my friend Shari's directing class at UVU. We did the climax to School for wives by Moliere (Is that the right spelling?) Is anyone familiar with that play? Didn't think so. Most people have never heard of it. But anyways, I played Agnes a very innocent 18 y/o and then my friend Justin played Arnolph, my father figure who is in love with me and raised me to be his wife and then there is Robert who plays my fiance, Horace. We have had a ton of fun rehearsing and coming up with a TON of inside jokes. We hardly ever actually got a complete run through before we had to perform it last Tuesday. But we did it, and it went great! Only a few minor flaws, but knowing what should have happened and the audience not knowing, they didn't even notice. But here are a couple pictures from the performance and rehearsals.

It's raining, it's pouring the old man is snoring

So I woke up and was excited to find that it was cloudy and looked like rain might actually come. Then I went outside a few hours later and the sun was shining bright. Dog goneit! Oh well, shorts and another t-shirt I guess. By the time I got to work, I think I got sunburned. I'm serious! Spending several hours inside at work, I take a look outside and it is pouring buckets of water! Crap, I didn't bring a coat! Thankfully it cleared up and the sun was starting to show through the clouds by the time I was off work around five. I had just enough time to walk to the buss station when the real storm hit. It started off with a light rain, then the buckets started coming, and then it was hailing! I'm not even joking! Huge giant pieces of ice chunks pelting down from the sky. Then it turned back into rain and has stayed that way since. Typical Utah weather, never know what you'll get.

Spring has Sprung!

When flowers are sprouting everywhere....
And breakfast is consiting of fresh fruit....
I think this counts as Spring, if not Summer!

Brown Derbys and a Remote Control Car

You all know what a brown derby is, right? Well ok let me rephrase that, all the Oborns should know what they are. For they are a family terdition! At least that is what I'm told. Growing up I never remember anything like them. But I have now been exsposed to the greatness that is Brown Derbys! Easy to make, easy to enjoy. You simply take a cake doughnut, put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top then smother it with chocolate syrup! Delish with a twist!

Just got back from family dinner. I really enjoy dinner with my family, or really anytime spent with my family. It becomes the high light of my week :)

So the other day I was walking to the park and was either on the phone or looking at my iPod, but I was not paying attention. All of a sudden this red remote car comes charging at me from around the corner, I screamed. Well you would to if something came charging at you! I look up to a bunch of boys huddled by the window of an upstairs apartment, laughing. Of course. Well you have to find ways to entertain yourself around here. And undoubtedly they have found a way. It is quite humorous to sit by the window and listen, you hear a rolling sound, then hopefully a scream, but if not, definitely a laugh. It's all in good fun.

Watch this video!!!

There is a competition at UVU for a commercial. This is my friend Justin, I think it's hilareous, if you watch it as many times as possible, it adds up to who wins. I personaly think this is the best one! So watch it and have a good laugh!
