Bazy Days

Can it be considered a lazy day if you get up at 7, get home at 8, leave for rehearsal at 9:30, Go to work at Noon. And then go home at 6? Maybe not, so I'll call it a Bazy Day. Lazyness on a Busy day.

I want to be lazy. I'm just very bored today. Nothing much to do. Nothing much to write about. It's a gorgeous day outside, and at least 50 degrees out. But yet there is nothing to really do outside.
I ended up going to my Cousin Whitney's house on Thursday night. Grandma and Grandpa Smith picked me up. I got to meet two great aunts and two great uncles whom I had never met that I can recall. Don't ask me what their names are, because I couldn't tell you if I wanted to. But they were Grandpa's sisters and their husbands.
Friday Whitney and I went to the University Mall and tried on dresses and clothes for fun. Then her family and I went and saw How to Train Your Dragon. Which was so cute! I recommend it to people of all ages!
Saturday, we got up at 7 am. Drew dropped me off at home, and I got ready for Rehearsal like I said before.

I don't know if I'm tired and thats why it seems like a lazy day on a busy day. But it does. I'm honestly considering going to bed right now. I know it's only 7 pm. But that rounds it out right, get up at 7, go to bed at 7. Seems like a plan to me!

Hike up to the Y

So yesterday Shari and I decided it would be a blast to go hike the Y. Like pack a lunch and make a day out of it. So I spent the night at her apartment. We ended up going through all her clothes. I don't think I have ever seen someone with so many clothes! She had just got four buckets of clothes out of her storage shed, her closet was packed full and her dresser was full. We managed two get rid of two very full garage bags of clothes, and one that I took home with me today (yay clothes!) I think we were up till four am going through them. Which means we didn't get up till noon today. We went to a couple places before going to te Y, then went and got Shari's dog, Jake. Then up to the Y! I think we got there a little after 3. It was a struggle, I'll admit that. Just like the first time I did it. We were both super sore and were just taking it really easy and slow. When we got to the top, It probably took us a little over an hour. With all our stoppings for photo breaks that is. We stayed at the top for oh I don't know, twenty minutes maybe. It was so nice. The sun was blaring down, but the wind was just right.

Simply Walmart.

I love Walmart. I've always loved walmart. I love how cheap things are. I love the selection. I love walking around at midnight with my friends because there is nothing else to do. So therefor I could not believe that my roommate, Chelsea has NEVER been to walmart. Yes, you read right, she has NEVER been to walmart. She's from New York. I was just amazed. My other roommate, Lauren, does not like Walmart. She's from California. That explains it. Just my thoughts on Walmart.

"...Oh what do you do in the Summer time.."

Yes my friends! It is finally that time of the year! Summer is here!!! It's been in the '60's and sunny brightness every day!! It's time to bring out the flip-flops, or as my dad calls them, Thongs! Shorts and t-shirts every day, no more sweaters or hats. Time to start walking EVERWHERE to enjoy the sun before it is way way to hot!

SHOPPING!!!!! (with no money)

It's probably the best thing to do. EVER!
So I got off work at five and thought it would be fun to meet up with Mandi and go try on clothes and pretend like we have money. So we hit the mall. I was not spending money. And luckily, I did't find anything I was in love with. Until, I walked out of a store to see Mandi getting her hair curled by a women using a pink straightner.
Oh, I did't fall in love with it. Not at all. Mandi did.
That is why I blame her, for me buying a $160 purple straightner, that I will probably never use for more than just the basic straight. Now, before you all go crazy on me, about spending that much on a straightner, no matter how good it is, did I mention it doesnt damage your hair, I did not spend $160 on it. I only spent $15. Today. As a down payment. And in the end, I will only pay $70.
I know, I'm CRAZY!
I walked away thinking, what the heck did I just do!?! I don't have money for this kind of thing!!! And normally I don't buy things like this! But they were so convincing, and I get my hair done when ever I want. I just need to go in and they will do my hair for me. Plus I got free shampoo.
I know, I know. Still no excuse, I think I just might take it back.
When I come to my senses.
Anways, we also got our nails done, well, buffed and polished. All for free.
Because they wanted us to buy there stuff, and I totally would have, if I had not just spent money on the other thing.
We then went to the dollar theater. I know, spend more money because I haven't spent enough already today. We went and saw The blind side. It was actually really good. I liked it.
Then before we knew it, it was midnight. And we found ourselves walking home in the dark. My place was closer than Mandi's, but it was still a good 20 blocks, maybe more, I don't even know. But then I call up Shari, she was supposed to meet us at the movie, but fell asleep because she was not feeling good. I wanted to check on her, and when she found out we were walking, insisted on giving us a ride. Love you shari :)
So that was my night. I'm still in shock about how much I spent, or I mean, spending.

*Dance like no one is watching*

So I haven't been to a dance in so long. I've really missed the dances once a month back home. Well today I went and hung out with some friends. And we just happend to go to the institute building. There was a dance tonight, 9-12. So we decided, what the heck, lets go! So we all met up and went, it was so much fun! Pretty much the same as the ones back home, except with college kids, and probably about ten times the amount of people back home haha. But anyways, just letting everyone know how much fun I had! =D

I'm really not weird, I'm actually quite normal.

I'm normal. At least in my eyes I am normal. Who really even knows what normal is. There are so many different ways to see normal. The Dictionary says this:

nor·mal  [nawr-muhl] –adjective
1. conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural.
2. serving to establish a standard.
The Urban Dictionary says this:

Normal
1. An idealistic state of being that remains as such. Because the idea of such a state varies from being to being and any set standard is nonetheless someone elses idea of what it is this condition warrants satisfactory confirmation of being amongst the confirmed members of such class, by the individuals code.
2. Normal is about as concrete as the idea of "love". The meaning is constantly evolved to suit the momentary desires and/or needs of a single person, or group of people.
3. A tool of conformity.
But here are a few things about me that people think are not normal.
  1. I'm a girl who likes to camp, shoot, hunt, play in the mud Ect..
  2. I mix weird food. Apples/Peanut Butter. Oreos/Peanut Butter. Cottage Cheese/Pinnapple. Grilled Cheese/Ketchup. Hot Chocolate/Toast. But really, half these things are not weird. It's NORMAL!
  3. I have to have my water cold before drinking it or it makes me sick.

And thats it! At least thats all I'm posting. Oh and here is the urbandictionary reference for my name. Just for fun :)

Kimber

  1. Kind, funny, and very lovable!
  2. Trust me she is a great girl that could change your life.
  3. She is hottttt! and is a very caring person
Dude that girl is such a kimber!
  4. The world's largest manufacturer of 1911 pistols, as well as rifles, shotguns, and much more. Kimber makes some of the best guns on the market; they set the benchmark firearm quality and dependability. They are safe, powerful, accurate, and fast! Kimbers are extremely well-made and therefore a little on the expensive side.
Marines, Special Forces, and LAPD all use Kimbers.

There is no better pistol to have in you hand than a Kimber

Bring on Aveda!

So yesterday since I didn't have to work, I thought I would go look at a couple apartments and some more cosmetology schools.

I ended up at Aveda Institute Provo. Some of you may be familiar with their products. I walked in and everything was covered in an inch of dust, they were under construction. I had the tour, and had to pretty much imagine what it would look like. Then I sat down in the office with Jed, the head of addmissions. He told me all about their salons. I have to say it was mighty impressive! Everything from the starlit ceiling to the pewter wash bowls was top notch. As he started talking about the ambassadors, I fell in love! Hahaha well I just knew that this was the school for me. But then we talked tuition, it's $18,000 for the 16 month program, plus a $2,500 supply fee. Ouch! We talked for more than an hour. Weird fact: He was from Valdez. They had a session starting Mach 17th, two weeks from now. They were taking off $5,000 from tuition because they were under construction still. Then they were starting another in June, and another in September. I left thinking there is probably no way I'll ever be able to attend. But I called mom raving about how fantastic and high end this school was. She told me that I needed to go back and start the admissions process. $5,000 of was a good deal, I would only need to pay $15,200 including the supply fee. Which at this point, was cheaper than Paul Mitchel.

So I'm now doing the admission process. I've got five days to turn all this in;
Personal Statement
Comparative Statement (Compair Paul Mitchel, Aveda and Taylor Andrews)
Letter of Reference (Not family, friend)
Personal Reference (Family, friend)
Passport Photos (Check! I look retarded though because he told me not to smile, but Ben made me laugh so I half smiled half didn't.)
DVD-R Of Me, Myself, and I.
Registration Fee of $300

I have till Saturday, 6pm to get all that turned in.

So lets cross my fingers to see if i get in! And if I don't, it's no big deal, there are plenty of other times, and plenty of other schools to choose from!
